NachoBuddy

A fun app for finding someone to split nachos with.

NachoBuddy is designed for people who want casual connection without the weight of a dating app or the commitment of a full social outing. It turns a simple plate of nachos into a small, public, low-stakes reason to meet.

The Problem

Existing social tools often ask too much up front. They can feel high-pressure, expensive, unsafe, or too vague for someone who just wants an easy bit of company while traveling or settling into a new city.

What It Solves

The app narrows the ask. Users share a vibe, pick a public place, and join a lightweight meetup built around a familiar food ritual. Safety filters and reviews reduce uncertainty without making the experience feel clinical.

Prototype Focus

This prototype demonstrates two core stories from the research: hosting a safer meetup while traveling, and finding an affordable, friendly connection in a new city.

Start with one of the two documented user stories
